Voice of Ireland

Gorey Credit Union would like to wish Kiera Byrne all the best in this years Voice of Ireland Competition. Kiera took part in our CU Factor last year progressing to the chapter final in New Ross and eventually taking third place. She has also kindly helped in the organisation and performed at our Youth Day. We again would like to thank her for all her assistance and wish her all the very best for the future.

Gorey Credit Union CU Factor

Gorey Credit Union are delighted to announce that this years CU Factor singing competition will be held on Saturday 3rd March. Winners will then progress to the Chapter 9 Final to be held on Saturday 31st March. Entries now closed - Best of luck to all who entered .

Digital Stamp Card

Gorey Credit union are pleased to announce the arrival  of our Digital Stamp Card.

Two cards are available, the General card and the Christmas card- withdrawals will only be pernitted on the latter each December, to help you save for Santa!

These cards will replace our existing stamp vending machine.

We are delighted to announce that foreign exchange facilities are now available 9.30am- 4pm.

ANNUAL MEMBER’S DRAW

Our Annual Member's Draw  with €10,000 worth of prizes was held recently . Congratulations to all our winners who received items such as TV's, iPods, Stereos and Vouchers . Check out our Facebook page for photo's of some of the winners .

CUA Recipients

Gorey Credit Union are proud to announce that currently eleven of their staff hold the Qualified Financial Advisor qualification and fifteen staff hold the Credit Union Advisor designation.

Another six were also presented with their awards recently by the Financial Services Ombudsman, Bill Prasifca at the offices of the Irish Management Institute.

All remaining staff are currently undertaking the relevant examinations to hold the qualifications necessary to ensure that our membership continue to get the best available service at our offices in McDermott Street and these qualifications will more than adequately meet the minimum competency requirements as laid down by the Central Bank of Ireland.
